A new home for a people

The Israel/Palestine conflict is often spoken about as “complicated” and “complex”. Each side of the conflict with its own understanding of how historic events unfolded and who is responsible for the circumstances of today. The gulf between the two sides has only gotten wider, and will continue to do so as efforts towards peace have failed for nearly a century. Today the respective parties may no longer have the will to make peace. As such, an alternative viable option needs to emerge.

A road map to peace

If peace is no longer attainable, then what relief can be afforded is what we set out to discover. Where that solution lies should be a paradigm shift. Jona Project seeks a remedy that is controversial but historically already proven to attain results and may be the only viable solution remaining. That is finding a new home for those Palestinians brave enough and willing to seek a better future for their families.

This will be achieved by

New Leadership emerging from within the Palestinian movement to lead and bring about the vision of a prosperous future free of conflict

Advocating for host countries within the Middle East and North Africa to allow refugees to be relocated

Funding the transition to be as painless and economically viable as possible for the families and host country.

Political/diplomatic delegates ensuring that all parties cooperate logistically

Messaging so that this undertaking becomes a primary objective globally

Persistence

While the will and vision for this may not currently be the prevailing zeitgeist; time and persistence will work its wonders and bring prosperity to the Palestinian and Israeli people alike.
